Terminology

The use of terminology ensures that certain terms are always consistently translated into other languages. For example, the aim is to ensure that trademarks or other proper names can always be translated in the same way in any language.

In ONTRAM terms are grouped into domains. Domains and the associated terms are created by importing an OLIF / TBX or Excel file (97-2003, *.xls). The terms can subsequently be changed, removed or added using the Terminology Browser. To use terminology in requests, domains must be assigned to requests or request groups and a terminology comparison must be performed.
