The character counter compares the length of the source and destination languages. It is located below the target language segment and is displayed as a number.
If the number is preceded by a tilde, the maximum length of the target language text was determined on the basis of the length of the source language text. By default, 20% more is charged for the respective target languages. No tilde means that the text length was specified by the original format.
The number indicates the remaining number of characters before the maximum length of the target language text is reached. If the maximum length is overwritten, the character counter turns red.
Note : To show the character counter, the function must be enabled in the view settings.
