Corrections in source language

With the source language correction, text changes to the source language can be made in current jobs. Jobs where the source language text changes during the process do not need to be created again.
The source language correction is not suitable for changes to the structure of the order, such as adding or moving segments.

In the overview of the job, it is shown whether author corrections can be made. To be able to perform source language correction, a few conditions must be met.

  • The source language correction has been activated in the job settings.
  • The user has been assigned the authorization job processing: Perform source language correction.
  • All languages of the job part are assigned to one of the workflow roles defined in the group settings for source language correction.

Perform source language correction

  1. Log into a job.
  2. Click Edit menu.
  3. Click under a source language segment. A popup opens.
  4. Change the source language text.
  5. Click Publish .

Result: The text in the source language segment was changed. The changes are documented in the source language correction history below the source language segment

Source language correction history

In the source language correction history, all changes to the source language segment are displayed in a pop-up with details of the user and date.

  1. under a source language segment.

Result: A pop-up with all source language corrections of the source language segment is opened.

Note: The Author's Corrections History can be seen only if this function is enabled in the view settings.
