Filter

If you want to edit only certain segments, use the filter settings to have only segments with certain properties displayed in the Editing Window. These properties can be select through the filters in the function bar.No filter is set by default.

Activate Filter

  1. In the editing view, click on Filter in the toolbar.
  2. Select filter category.
  3. Select filter.

Result: All segments with the properties of the filter are displayed. Segments without the filter properties are hidden from display.

For a better overview, the filters in ONTRAM are divided into categories.

Note: This filter only lists the QA checks that have not already been configured on the workflow used.

 

Filtering of target language segments using marked segments exemplary

By selecting specific target language segments, the user can filter target language segments during or after editing. The marking function is located below the target language segment. By default, marking is not activated. The marker function is only displayed if it was previously activated in the view setting.

The user can choose between the Check and Was checked markers.

Adding a Marking

  1. Under a target language segment, click on the word None next to the marker function.
  2. A drop-down opens.
  3. Select a marking from the drop-down.

Result: The target language segment receives the selected marking. Use the Markings filter to filter the Content area for segments with markings.

Note: To remove the selection, click None from the drop-down or click the "Cancel this filter" button at the end of the order path.

Filter category: QA check

The QA checkfillter category is shown only if a QA check was set for the Job or Job part. In the QA check category only those filters can be selected for which QA checks were set in the Job.
